nice one dogsballs. whilst my track bike is in the works i ride my beater fix which is converted from a 27" wheeler like yours. very long, very comfy, with brick-clearance (yous got fag paper? i can stick a brick in mine!). it's slower weaving but isn't really causing too much problem for me.

brick clearance, you should see the reach on the calipers. it's also deceiving as this makes the headset look about 1" shorter, than what the length of the seatpost is. was going to sell it, but after sorting out seat angle, it's a dream.

Quite correct - Pretty though they are I wouldn't recommend them. Apart from the obscene weight you also have to cope with the "never going to be central/round" chainring issue.

Don't get me wrong I've used them for 19 months but I can't in good conscience let other people waste the money as they won't do your fixie justice.
what lenght arms they? and are you running a Ti axle? and wot BB for that matter?

That brake lever is the same one that is on the Langster London... but in black. Anyone seen where you can get the silver langster version?

I'm no longer using them but they were 165mm with a profile Euro bottom bracket. I could never quite justify the Ti axle.
Including the chainring as well they weigh in at 2.9something pounds. Weighty.

Mega buff, I would say very intelligent, possibly a marine biologist or theoretical physicist, he looks like he is also a cruel lover and one of the finest swordsmen in France.

This is my nearly finished track bike.

I've been planning/intending to ride regularly at Herne Hill for the last couple of years, the plan was to have this ready in time to ride from the beginning of this year's season. Unfortunately I got diverted from finishing it by other projects and from riding at Herne Hill by training for a ride to Land's End and then by work commitments.

Anyway this is now almost there, so it’ll definitely be ready for next year. The bars still need taping and I want change them for a set of 3TTT Pista bars. The saddles also temporary, still looking for the right one to fit, I'll post another picture when it's completely finished.

Anyway this is now almost there, so it’ll definitely be ready for next year. The bars still need taping and I want change them for a set of silver 3TTT Super Competizones. If anyone’s got a set, 42cm wide, I’m interested, have a set of bronze ones I could trade, or the silver Ambrosios fitted to this, or various other bits. Equally happy to pay cash for them.

The saddles also temporary, still looking for the right one to fit, I have Fizik Ariones on my other bikes, which I find really comfortable, but don’t think it would look right on this bike and I think long distance comfort will be less of an issue on the track. Any suggestions welcome. Also want to fit this with a Miche Super Type seatpost, again if anyone’s got one in a 27.2mm diameter I’d be interested, though I realise these are more than a little popular. Could trade for a titanium Campagnolo Chorus or one of various X-lite seatposts I have knocking about, again I’d be equally happy to pay cash for it.

I'll post another picture when it's completely finished.

I love it !

You are the only other person (ever!) - except for me I have seen running bebop pedals - yours look to be silver SLs (?)

Best pedals in the world ever !

Forget your triple titanium egg beaters with weight limits and regular 6 month services, the Bebops are made from steel, massively durable, no weight limits and they still manage to show how it's done when put up against even the super super super lightest pedals out there, with the Bebops coming in at 185g a pair (for the Bebop-deluxe) or 195g a pair for the SLs (as a reference a pair of Shimanos top of the line super light pedals will be around half a pound heavier at ~ 420g a pair)

I can say with my hand on my heart that I have never even put a drop of oil on my Bebops or put an allan key/screw driver near them for a whole freaking decade and they are still as good/smooth/solid as the day I got them.

May I go on . . . . ?

When it comes to stack height and axle length (a relevant issue to fixed riders hoping to go around corners) they even beat the tiny speedplay pedals with Bebops stack height of 10mm (speedplay = 11mm).

Freaking legendary.
