| | haven't J&D Chapman started daubing rainbows and stuff onto Hitler originals? I think they started doing it to old Bosche paintings. I thought that was sacriledge or however you want to spell it. Hitler's are a better idea. But I did think most of those Britpop artists generally leaned toward the cunty side of human nature. For some reason I rather rate Emin's outlook on things, even though I couldn't stand her for ages and hasn't done loads to progress her ideas. For some reason I always kind of liked Damien Hirst too. On the other hand Noble and Webster are talentless-gobshite wannabe rock'n'rollers who lucked out on the Saatchi gravy train. They should rightfully have spent the 90s teaching GCSE art in unremarkable state schools. IMHO. |
