London Fixed-gear and Single-speed SJS Cycles

A few of you may of seen us Brighton lot talking about arranging a hill climb in the centre of town, well the general consensus was we ought to move it to the infamous ditchling beacon.

So what do people reckon in terms of dates?

It'd be great if we could get a few of the London lot down, plus as many of the Brighton lot as well.

I'll try and out a post up to help matters along

most people on here can't get up Ditchling ;) so this might be a bit of a nonstarter.

happily combine it with a ride to brighton but can't commit to a date yet.

do people really think that the day of the forum ride to brighton (aug 2nd) would be good?

won't we all be knackered, and isn't the point to sit on the beach and eat burnt meat and get drunk?

i'm well up for it... if there's not too much interest from london, or we can't arrange it to everyone's satisfaction, let's just get the brighton people doing it!

sunday 26th is best with me too.

i agree with max, it's a bad idea to do it on the forum ride day - unless it's just brighton people, and we haven't cycled from london...

i would rather do on the forum ride day so as to save on having to come to brighton any more than is truly necessary ;)

i haven't voted yet tho as still waiting for diary commitments to firm
