London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

That's what I was thinking about. Newhaven-Dieppe is around 20GBP a single and the services leave Newhaven 18:00, 1:00, 7:00 with 4 hour journey time. The 1:00 looks ideal but also kind of booked out on August Fridays. Leaving London Friday around 18:00 red eye in Dieppe 6:00 and role into Paris in the early afternoon.
Anybody up for that package?

Okay people thinking about this date weekend of the 22nd/23rd/24th August. The weekend before the August Bank Holiday.
Right now its looking like theres enough people to make this a really interesting trip. And there's been enough interest in riding to Paris to possibly have two groups. Personally I'm all about the Eurostar to Paris, but for for those bike mad souls who want to ride London-Newhaven-Dieppe-Paris seems to be the preferred alternative.
If this date is impossible for the MAJORITY of people we'll seek a new one, otherwise, put it in your diaries.
So in true LFGSS fashion, lets make a list.

my place to newhaven is 68Miles
Dieppe to paris (via Gournay-en-Bray) is 108miles

would we stop over some where in france en route to paris for the night?

There are at least 3 people coming from Paris for the polo and probably 5, maybe ride back with them? Or make new friends at polo and have places to stay in Paris!

We're looking for housing for out-of-towners so maybe house the parisians when they're here and get housing when you're there. Email me if you can house them.
