| | Bored! You think a broken collar bone will slow this bitch down? Tynan's right though. I've put every component I wanted on the affinity. Don't think I'll ever top her. Time to buy into a different genre of bikes I've been putting the time to use shopping for BMX parts ;) |

| | Nice bike Emilie. Sorry you can't ride it right now, must be MADDENING! I recommend you don't take any painkillers as soon as possible... oh you're a masochist, that's a foregone conclusion then. But seriously Ibuprofen no mendy mendy. Just smoke some kill instead. Heal well mate. |

I do know that the Catholic Church fails to acknowledge their existence, if lesbians were real it would throw a few spanners in their reasoning against homosexuality. So they don't exist, obviously. | |

| | Emilé, I know you'll heal fast, but good luck with it too. You were amazingly lucid on Sunday when you came back to polo, given the amount of morphine you were on! With the one hand typing, I found that using a microphone and voice recognition (standard on Mac OS X and Vista) worked alarmingly well. Me, sitting at desk, quietly purring: "Open LondonFGSS for me, baby." "Open first thread." "Type 'H T F U'" "Open next thread." "Type 'Racist'" "Open next thread" .. etc etc |

| | Seeing as this is the offical record of my injury. I went to the Royal London this morning for my first fracture clinic, a few frustrating hours and some x-rays later has left the dotors unsure of what to do next. Healing time has been revised upwards to 8-10 weeks with a decision being made during my next appoinment (3 weeks time) as to whether to plate and pin the bone. Shabby :[ |

| | Heya, That sucks! Just to reasure you though, if they do decide to pin its not a big deal. I'm a bit wary of anasthetics but the whole thing was no big deal and actually made my back hurt less as everything was back in line. Takes a while for the cut muscles to heal of course. Who was the doctor? Mr. Barry and Mr. Millington? Seeing them on Wednesday hopefully for the final all clear. Remember to eat loads of spinach and (vegan) protein, pulses a go go. |

| | AN UPDATE. I'm bored of public transport. I'm close to tears at the though of needing to get back on a fucking tube, sit next to overweight retched humans breathing their damned miasma. OIn the bonus. Painwise, it's almost sensible. I still can't do much in the way of lifting but other than that I'm not too bad. I have my next fracture clinic on Monday morning and am hopefully that they'll tell me I can escape plating (the healing time for that is too fucking long). Also, because I'm me and don't listen to sound advice becuase I'm stubborn and my own worst enemy, I went for a short ride (All of 5 minutes) last night on my polobike, ridiculous low gear = easy skidding. I wouldn't be me if I didn't try. Basically I can ride, it's not sensible and will likely lengthen the healing process but I can almost ride properly again. I've done it with every other bone I've ever broken and my ruined knee. Guess I'll see you all on the road sometime soonish. |
