Bianchi pista drilled forks?

Hi I am considering getting a new Pista, i know it doesn't come with a front brake but is the fork drilled for one?

I am also thinking about building up an IRO but am impatient after selling my last bike!

Maybe building up from scratch may be a better option...if I were to drill any ideas how?

Pista is drilled for front, but not rear - go into the big Evans at Spitalfields and have a look

I'd steer clear of the bianchi pista if i were you. the frames nice but the rest of the stuff isn't, i had one 2 years back and the crank bolt snapped after 6 months. and it's a really bumpy ride.

I bought one recently as I wanted a bike to ride around town on that I wasn't too bothered about should it get nicked. It's not the greatest bike I've ever owned that's for sure but for the price I think it is pretty decent value for money. I'm expecting various parts to wear out pretty quickly though, and the wheels are favourites to go first, but have budgeted for that.

the compound itself are perfect for track, just not so for street.

either way it still got a good compound really.

I've been riding one since december and I must admit it's stiff, but you get quickly used to it (HTFU). For the price I still think it's good value especially as an entry level bike.

what i DO like about the pista frame is the nice ping! it makes when you flick it with your fingernail.

stiff as fuck! it's amazing how much stiffer it is compared to my old roadie that has been converted to a fixie.

all you have to do is change a couple of compound and it'll be comfortable.

most of us never rode a track bike (including me) before, so the experience is new to us, even when we knew that it going to be quite stiff.

Got one! Bought it end of last year. Great fun and great ride! Have changed most of the bits (was always the plan), would definitely recommend changing the wheels and pedals as soon as possible.
