| | Trixie Chix in Cooler Magazine I thought you might like to check out this article on fixed gear bikes in Cooler Magazine. Yes, they do go on about 'no brakes' and 'fixies' all the time, but it's a pretty good effort and its nice to see something in a women's magazine that you actually want to read! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| | I think the article, grammar/spelling aside is pretty great. The woman who wrote it rides fixed and interviewed me right after the Observer debacle so I was pretty hard on her. I would like to say that I said "I only knew 3 other women riders" not that there were only 3. According to my quote I was the 4th ever fixed rider in all of London when I started. We are in the August edition of Elle Magazine -Quebec as well so get your subscriptions in now. |

And once the mistake has appeared in a 'credible' news source, that's it - fact. To be repeated by all the others. You are now officially the fourthest fixie girl in London ever, Roxy - take a bow.

And considering that currently there are "ONLY 7 WOMEN IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD RIDING FIXIES" I'm even more fantastic-er.

| | Horatio is that the whole article? do you subscribe to Elle Quebec? I currently have a rather gobsmacked French colleague translating it for me, although I fear I might now have a reputation in the Paris office... shit i've just realised my name is in there...what on earth did they quote me as saying... |
