| | Chain sprocket compatability The fixed sprocket I have on my wheel has teeth protruding from a thicker portion of billet material, (should be vissible in the pic). As my chain falls on to the sprocket the edge of this thicker material makes contact with the links of the chain causing a fair amount of noise.I'm runnning a 3/32 chain and I believe it is a pretty standard sprocket. Am I being unrealistic in how quiet I expect the transmission to be or is it likely to be some sprocket Chain incompatability?A flatter sprocket would solve the problem but I would rather not part with anymore cash. |
