He actually gave it to my dad... I've been telling my dad repeatedly for over a year that it's too small for him and the only logical solution is to give it to me. And my persistence has paid off :D

MTB next!

I have modernised this a bit with some 7600 DA cranks, nitto jag post and the ostrich kashimax which is surprisingly comfy

i can't get over how smooth she's running at the moment, the tubs been holding up well and the araya's been staying true despite the london rds and my 16stone of bulk...

and yeah, soon as the chain tugs arrive no slack chain!?!

close but not perfect i agree

you should probably look at older rims, as they have less depth to them

Finally got around to finishing the missus / ed's missus clone bike.... the only defense i have is that apart from handlebars, brakes & levers it has been built for at least 8 months.

I'm happy keeping it rough and ready so no need for a paint job.
Where are you based. You could always bring it in to the Oxford cycle workshop if you're near! Boxes and boxes and crates of second hand gear as well as all the correct fixed/singlespeed new bits to choose from.........And way cheaper then anywhere in the universe.

Ok, at the moment she's almost fully built, apart from some fork woes which should be fixed by Jimbilly this week so I can fit a front brake - I'll post some more pics then, but for the moment here's some grainy phone pics to wet your appetite.

Yep, it's a modern looking build and I don't like quill stems,

@teens don't Jimbilly kept shouting that at me last night, there is no way I'm riding a rather expensive frame brakless round the streets of London's famous London when I can't even skid, I'm no hipster fixie skidder! (even though it does look like one)

I did however have a little trundle round my road at 11pm last night and got a little excited. I might take it to the park round the corner tomorrow and try and learn to skid on it on the grass, the lack of brake is a good excuse to learn as I wont be reaching for it.
