| | lol. Yes its nice. I had some money last month and wanted to get something different. I like bright coloured things. Everything on it will be chrome. Thats all I know. Never ridden a bike with drops before know nothing about stems etc. Dont even know what size stuff I need to get for it. |

| | Hey All, Heads up! I'm currently working on a sneaky little plan to get gear from USofA to London, cheaper than most. Let me know if there be parts that you're wanting. Also, feel free to exploit me while I'm here. (I'll exploit you back) I'm in the very bike happy land of Madison WI. For vintage, nagasawa, or other hard-to-find stuff check out Yellow Jersey here. |

| | My new project: The Bridgestone. Pictured here with loads of cheap shit parts I had laying around. I took it to Herne Hill on Sunday and riding back the cranks all but fell off! Need: NEW CRANKS (Sugino or Dura Ace), Nitto seatpost, Dura Ace hubs/Araya rims, new chain, etc, etc, http://www.londonfgss.com/members190...picture328.jpg |

| | So, after a bit of time I finally got the Bridgestone finished and rode her in today, first time riding fixed. Gotta say a few thank yous, firstly to SBB for the masterclass in wheel building and his patience, and also to Eyebrows for the frame. Finally thants to Dale for the cog last night, the final part of the jigsaw. ![]() Few pics for you, she runs so smoothly compared to the SS, not a single sound, love it. Just gotta get some leather bar tape, as not 100% sure on the bare bars, i'll decide after a few days of looking. ![]() ![]() |

-1 on losing the saddle and bullhorns. Keep both (but I would say that as I have same saddle and bars on me ride), but do put some tape on them bars!

Know the problem ! I crept in late Sunday afternoon with a lo-pro frame, you would be amazed at how good you get at hiding something as big as a bike frame. My current excuse list: 1) I am building it up for a friend. 2) This one I am building up to sell, I don't even like it. 3) I have had this for months, it has been stored at my friends house. 4) Someone gave this to me for free. 5) Look what I found in a skip !

| | I'm just waiting for a seatpost before the Watanabe is finished, not back to London til June 6th so no major rush BUT I'm bikeless in Paris at the mo as still haven't had chance to come back for the Vivalo :-( I've been in Paris just over a week and I've spotted a grand total of two fixed wheel bikes - one even had a rear Aerospoke! |

Ha ha ha. This is how my bedroom is full of frames etc... Really should reduce this. My favourite, oh this? I bought it ages ago, it's to replace that one, you know, the one i sold. Chris

You would also be amazed at how a frame can change size, colour and shape by simply cleaning it.

| | stripped down the copacetic and put all the parts on the Monoc picked up from brian. first ride this morning and sweet as. thanks to brian for the frame and to dogs/prav/snowy for the BB, momentum for the saddle and to good old John Macadam for inventing the blacktop. gonna clock up some fast ally miles. now just need the seatpost i am waiting for for the polo bike and my projects are done. at least that is until i can get on to fixing up the mtb frame from prav. oh, and think i will be looking out for a longer Thomson stem maybe 100 - 110 mm, and some Cinelli Criterium bars for the Monoc, but no rush like |

| | Working on my first road conversion (always used straight track frames before), old 531 that is gonna end up pretty sweet, already rocking full campag, chorus HS, hubs and seatpost, record cranks and carbon record BB, I'm going to loose soooo much money when I sell it finished, just can't stop myself putting the nice bits on |
