| | LucasArts used to make the most amazing adventure games before they sold out and started milking the Star Wars cow. Loom, The Monkey Island Series, Day of the Tentacle..this one was the absolute best - I defy anyone who played it to argue otherwise ![]() Oh and inbetween Diablo I & Diablo II a little gem called Darkstone DSI emerged to pass the time |

| | Bringing this sort of back from the dead, missed it first time around. Raid Over Moscow ![]() Bubble Bobble ![]() Head Over Heels ![]() Hyper Sports ![]() (on the weightlifting on the C64 version, if you started struggling it make a noise like you were farting) Most others have already been mentioned, such as Elite, Commando, Gauntlet, IK+, Summer/Winter Games, Daley Thompsons Decathlon* etc. Used to love the fact that while the game was loading you could read the instructions, then get stuck straight into it. Nowadays some instruction booklets are like novels. Ahhh, what memories. * ON DT Decathlon for the C64, it you threw your javelin up at 90 degrees it came back down stuck into the bottom of a satellite with CCCP written on the side! |

| | My parents were the worst when it came to new technology and were the slowest at responding to my brother and my pleas (we got Nintendo just after Super Nintendo came out). So we had a C64 to play with from when it was cool until 1994. The main games we played were Gauntlet, Battle Axe, Fort Apocalypse, and Bruce Lee ... wickedest game EVAR!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuMPa046Ni4 |
