yes, well, it's a project! it's quite exciting. i think it's a path frame that has been loosely converted with a sturmey three speed. they look like track ends to me.

anyway. . . £147 for gb stem and bars!

nevermind it was the crank at the back giving the impression of having a severely bent seattube.

Everyone has got to start somewhere though?

true - and he could be selling it for a technophobe bike luddite.

i'm intrigued by this 'forged hidinium'. a new space age material from the 50s.

Theres a full carbon focus cayo expert with full ultegra on Bike Radar- offered price is 700, i reckon he'd be happy with £600 or so. I'd buy it but can't afford it.
I'm also not going to tell you where, but leave it subtly.....

Yep just re read it, its probably just a case of him sourcing a bike for you as opposed to stealing it, how very cynical of me.

i disagree. the seller is full of hyperbole. this bike is uninspiring. the bars are wilting, the saddle is nasty, disgustingly mismatched tyres, the list goes on. as for the 'see your mate's face when you rock up on this' spiel, my mate (if i had one) would probably vomit all over himself if i did 'rock up' on this. it has all the boxes ticked in expensive build terms and still looks shit. that's the problem with trends i suppose.

Nah, someone sniped it for more! Wasn't too bothered as I was hoping to strip it and maybe sell a few parts, so I didn't bid v. high.
