Is anyone bidding on this as I have a compulsion to buy it?
did you get it? £290 aint bad!
290 is a damned good price but I couldn't justify the cash right now. It would have been 350 with postage and this month is already making me feel poor. I'm going to get the Sunday build out of the way first then start looking for a new fixed project. Should be around about March.

I've got a mountain bike which is begging to be made into fixed too (It has track ends). Likely a polo bike of some sort.
Don't suppose you've seen a 135mm fixed/free anywhere cheap?

I like the look of this, I've brought a couple of things from this seller before. Always seems to have a few really good random things

It's not U.S it's Japan, And If someone wants a NJS frame like myself, your options are limited. Paying an additional $110 to have this shipped is not the end of the world.

I think ebay recommend you wait seven days before taking further action.

Just ask them if they've shipped and if they can provide tracking number/proof, then if they don't get back to you panic a bit. If you don't hear anything after 10 days you can report them

I would actually trust a Japanese seller more than a UK seller. No offence UK Headz.

Oh man that was my fault actually, i was helping my friend to fix his bike and the repair stand clamp squeezed the top tube! :(
just for the uninitiated, the first rule of workstand club, is that you NEVER clamp the top tube.

the second rule is that you NEVER clamp the top tube.

you fit a seatpost and clamp that.

with a wall thickness of .4 - .6 of a mm with butted tubes it's a very silly thing to do.

Did anyone see this? Got up at 6am this morning to bid. Got it for £218. Has a Suntour crankset too. Under £250 inc shipping.
Never heard of De Santi or the tube maker. Camus Tubes Legers - Carbon Manganese. Judging by the lugs I reckon it's steel. Anyone got any info?

Looks nice though! ;-)

Think that'll mean the Paganini will be up for sale if anyone's interested.
I'm supposed to be saving space not filling it.

Hi there, just joined after lurking for some time. Still not fixed, but I am on the lookout. I've spotted the above. Am I missing any howlers or would this make a good first fixed?

I have about £150 to get up and running... basically I'm after something simple with a flipflop. Doesn't need bells and whistles... one step at a time.

Thanks

i don't know what the rules are with ending auctions early.

but its good to know that if the bidding goes up that high it is still worth it.

(nobody else is allowed to bid ok!)
