Would the fact that the gear cables are so tight affect the steering? Sure looks like it.

Dinotte are having a SALE again. Pick up a 200 lumen front light for £66 delivered.
Nice machined alloy, easily mounts with a o-ring, seperate battery pouch for 4 AAs. earthquakeproof.. Just use your existing AA NIMH batteries and charger.
Get ready for Winter! :-)

Yeah, I think so, but to be honest the first thing that frame needs is Campag anyway...

It's no surprise - I've almost given up considering every search I do I end up with thousands of Unipacks, Leader frames or these...

I don't! It takes a 24" front wheel - so yes, might be cheap and crazy-looking but not really rideable!

note that it is not a track frame but an old road frame that has had track ends added.
he paid 50 for it.

At the risk of coming over like a public service announcement...there was some speculation about the positioning of the track-ends on their conversions - check out the seat stays on the one you linked too, they are really close to back of the ends. Might raise BB height/ clearance issues. Also, judging by the dynamo (?) mount on the front fork leg it is very old frame and probably for 27" wheels...I'd say avoid if it goes much over £30.

The old road frame had pump pegs that they didn't remove, by the looks of things. Also, the forks look like they don't have a flate plate crown on the forks, more like one of those old tube ones a la
