It's 531 tubing, in an unusual (and attractive) colour so will go for at least £50 I'd think. It's not clear if it has vertical drop outs so I don't know if it's suitable for a conversion.

I used to race one of these when I were a lad.

It was a nice bike.

Forks look bent on this one, brakes don't match and the headset is wrong.

Looks like it's been lunched.

but it wouldn't really be a conversion.
That frame is not meant for gears- unless you put an internal hub on it.
