You need to show that Duty and VAT have been paid in the EEC.

If the VAT rate of the originating country is lower than the UK, it is technically possible that you may have to pay the difference. Unlikely, though.

that was never sold last wel, told a friend about it, he didn't bid, unsold at £395
still a damn bargain.

It failed to sell on a Saturday then he put it up immediately on a 24 hour listing and it sold the next day for £375 or so.
