I did an odd thing last night, went for a cycle without alchohol at beginning, middle or end of it. It made me feel all funny inside.

I plan to put things right by being at the JS shortly after 6.

Why not try The Jerusalem Tavern‎, on Britton Street just off of Clekenwell road. It's a nice pub just round the corner much nicer IMO than the Duke, good selection of ales and a nice cider. I would come along but I am feeling like shit and just trying to work but achieving nothing so will go home to bed soon.
