| | I've been riding firebike for a few weeks - looks wicked although there's some kind of chainline issue that I can't get my head round, possibly related to the frame being warped. Might bring it out to the good fixed riders of Newcastle for a bit of advice on that one. Also need some single chainring bolts, then it's done. It's got those ridiculously big pursuit bars on though so doesn't lend itself to polo - might go with the Puch for now. |

| | Do you guys not want to just create your own forum? If you create a social group you can magic into existence a forum under the social groups area... then you can have a whole area in which to post as many threads as you want and stuff. Not bothered if you don't, just happened to notice that this thread has 600+ replies :) |

| | Yeah, sounds fine by me - do sometimes feel a bit guilty that all the Londoners have to see all our crap. Didn't know you'd set a group up already Phil. All we need is some nice clear instructions for the less technically minded among us. I'm sure VB can move this thread right? |

| | All sign up to the group... and I'll move the thread the moment you have a forum created. And if you have other threads that you want putting in there from around the board I'll move those too. The advantages to this are that you can get a Newcastle RSS feed, you can have your own area for events, you can have your own moderators if you want them, you can have your own announcements and notices, you get to see who is in or around Newcastle even easier from the members of the group, etc, etc. Lots of boring stuff, but it does help get more people onboard, and that generally helps to get more people riding :) |

| | spotted a red klein, with risers and front brake locked by the northumbria law school/business school (a few times, now). also spotted of.the.time riding up shields, on my way to exams. won't be around this weekend, but the one after that (21st) may be primetime for a repeat effort to the coast. a fellow in my program who came along on a phil-tour hasn't made the trip yet, and these post-exam weeks are our best chance at getting out. |

| | Phil, yeah next time give me a shout, were you in the forth? I work underneath Electrik Sheep so always around there. It's an INDI 500 tange crmo frame, had a stock pista wheelset and changed the front one up a bit. Thought I'd cut the bars too short at first but I like them now, might still look into some drops though. Cheers Ricky, was a bit busy down there today ! Still an excuse for short bars, riding through markets... So was anyone on here around Monument on Friday, about 1.30 ? Green SS ? Can't remember the colour of the 2nd bike I saw, but also around 1.30. |

| | Also, got a friend interested in a first build / complete bike, he ain't too fussy on which. Anyone have any thing "lying around" for sale ? Thought I'd try this first before the main classifieds section. Frame / forks probably looking for. Or is the best bet RCYB on a Sat morning ? Ta in advance ! M |

I know what you mean about narrow bars, and they look cool as hell but I think I'll be reverting back to wider risers in the near future ! With regards to Elekrtik Sheep, I thought I recognised you from somewhere ! | |

| | Probably, mind firmly set on not toppling any ornate mirrors or DVD stacks ! Me too, these are 400mm, reckon I'll be adding 10-20mm to each side next time I cut a set.. Were you with Carmine on Sun ? Don't really know him but know who he is, and remember clocking him in the crowd. |
