| | Yeah, liking the bike mate. Pretty sure I can do weds too for a bit of a blast. Around the uni and student bits it's all flat, perfect riding. I run 48:17 in the summer although been a winter pussy lately and been on 48:20 - soon to change back after a few more miles in the legs. |

| | Hi Sparky, we're not good on the drinks front - all about the riding... but I'm up for changing that this year. Think there's a few people new to the forum here who are just in the process of sorting out bikes so would be an ideal opportunity to get everyone together. I can only do Wednesday night this week. Anyone else? |

| | i get out of lectures around 530, and will require remedial directions to find the venue on foot. was checking in to see if there was a ride coming up this weekend, especially if the nice weather sticks around. wouldn't mind riding around whitley bay or beyond sometime. |

| | still bike fail on this end. lectures and labs keep me tied up during rcyb hours, so i havent been able to drop in and grab a frame. the weekend ride would be with the gracious loan of your polo bike. ; ) this is my first full weekend in town, so hopefully i'll be able to cobble something together soon. also, stipend hasn't arrived yet, so its been a tightrope of Books vs bicycle, in anticipation of the cashes. |

| | Ok kids - would recommend the Cluny for the inaugral Newcastle Drinks tomorrow as it's more bike-parking-friendly but it's out of town and not ideal for newcomers/people without transport. So - best place in town as far as I'm concerned is the Forth which is near the station. Can meet people at station if that's easiest. I'll be able to get there for 7:30ish. Can eat in there. Sound ok to everyone? |

| | Never seen any complete fg bikes for sale up here other than the usual otp. There's various outlets for frames and bits though. Has anyone had any thoughts about tomorrow? Forecast sunny - I'm up for doing the coast run - maybe further if weather holds out. Have Phil and Priya sorted out logistics yet? 11 o clock start ok? |
