I second that

Started on a shoestring and grew because they are good guys. Last year they were super nice in the 24 hour race (they were a checkpoint).

If ever in Atlanta, I highly recommend stopping by.

There is a 'law' (I think it is called 'Poe's Law' ?) which says that religious thinking is so nonsensical that it is literally impossible to determine whether a religious statement or claim is humorous or not.

''without wishing to start a religious debate...''

is like someone saying ''I'm not a racialist [sic] but...'' then coming out with something REALLY racist.

C'mon. No one was dissing Christian Scientists.

If you WANT me to, I can.

Well, riding fixed goes completely against the evolution of bikes so I guess that means they are neo-christian bikes.

No need to explain yourself to me, I think firstly religion is poisonous nonsense and secondly I don't think anyone or any one group of people should be given special deference or protection from offense, if I want to call a racist an idiot or a Muslim Imam an idiot I usually do.

No one has the right to not be offended as much as religious groups would like it to be so.

If it sounds offensive, I usually meant to offend. :)

Reminds me of being in the kiddie play area at Viccy park the other day, I was chatting to this dude with a dog-collar on who's son was an AMAZING climber at a really young age, totally fearless high-up on the climbing frames. I (stupidly assuming he was an evolutionist, hardly the case with 'high' types who wear dog collars to the park...) said 'aha there's an example of proof that humans are descended from monkeys', pointing at his son. He was not amused.

:D haha !

These people have skin thinner than a knock off packet of Rizlas.

(By the way evolution does not postulate we evolved from monkeys !)

We share a common ancestry with monkeys but we are not evolved from them.

Think of it like this (and I am abusing the word evolve here a little) -
you are evolved from you grandparents - your cousins are also evolved from your grandparents - but you are not evolved from your cousins.

Monkeys are our cousins we share ancestry but are not evolved from them.

We shouldn't stop at sludge, after all no particular point in the past can be said to be distinct to any other. We shouldn't stop at sludge an say 'it all started here', nor should we stop at amino acids, nor should we stop at carbon atoms, any of these would be arbitrary distinctions.

You need to get in touch with the Chrischuns, I think you may have just disproved speciation through natural selection.
