long time lurker and reader, first time poster,
if the weathers good I'm in, haven't built up my fixie yet, frames just arrived from the states, and I've still got to pay customs on it
is my lovely new geared soma allowed? Also got a mate who might be up for it as well
also if I bagsy a bridge does that mean I've got to be first over it?

i like that twist on the idea

that would however, mean that i would have to be first up primrose hill at 4 in the morning after the whole ride :S

I figured if you bagsied a bridge you had to collect it up on the way over and ride with it in your bag, hence the reason I was gonna bagsie Kew Bridge...

MA3K:Here is the proposed route again for your elucidation: Saturday Night Ride 14th July - The Bridges(Finaly)

I suggest a south of Tower Bridge assembly pub this time.
MA3K's route looks good, so how's about assembling at the Anchor Tap

Sam Smiths pub so cheap, and a big outside courtyard bit for bike parking/guarding, what do people reckon?

How fast do you guys go? (on your bikes, I mean)

I'd like to get some night training in for Dunwich, and this sounds good, but I'm new to fixie riding, I think I'm overgeared, and I'd rather not be left bonked in the badlands.

I'm hoping something faster than an sunday afternoon canalside amble, yet slow enough that we don't all form a line and share the work in the front. Does this sound about right?

I think you would be alright, any way I would not worry about beeing in the "badlands" it is going through central London and then out to kew, not exactly ghetto!

I dont think the pace on this ride will be too much. its central london after all and there is bound to be times when we get split up etc.
