I have just bought this frame after looking for one for ages (cheers to Mutley), I would like to get it powder coated, does anyone know someone in the London area who could do this?
why don't you send it off to argos/mercian and get it painted with original decals and do it justice!! also increasing re-sale! instead of poverty black or blue.

What, pay x amount to get an expensive paint job, ride it home, stick it in the shed and the strimmer falls on it and fucks it within a day of it being done. I know what you are saying, but for a commuter, it dont add up to me.

then why you want to ride a rare frame and beat the shit out of it???
DB, I wanna ride a frame I like the look of without worrying if I am gonna scratch it, thats all. At the end of the day its a cheap commuter that will cost me the same amount as a shit road bike. If that is wrong, there it is I guess.
Yep DB, Chris King headset, paul hubs, dt swiss rims, paul cranks and chainring, phil wood BB, old school cinelli stem and bars, record delta front brake (if I run one), rolls saddle and Nos campag aero seat pin, real hipster mate ;-)

I think it's a great frame, can't wait to see it all finished with the blingy bits on... I'd probably Arrotex everything matt black then apply half a dozen coats of military grade anti-radar lacquer afterwards... But that's just me... ;)
I thought some old parts, some new, all functional and most importantly all are low maintenance, should look ok and should ride sweet, which at the end of the day is the important thing. We shall see though.
