I can't wait till i'm home now....
This is my polo mallet:

Might be able to get some more as our club has bought some more new ones.
got a match this weekend. anyone in oxford should come watch the most violent sport in the world.

Now i just need a bike.....

i think the general consensus thus far is Thursday for the polo, but a poll asking what day is good for people. I think that's what they were pushing for.

in an attempt to keep serious cyclists/drinkers and wannabes (like me) apart, West London Polo should start on Wednesdays.
If this does not suit the majority of people then we can easily move it to Thursdays and still turn up at the pub afterwards at nine-thirty or so.. We need 6 people and some mallets. so far we have:
1 - provenrad
2 - B. D. Wayne
3 - NoMallets.
There has been some speculation about Wayne, Hippy and BRM forming a polo team for the tournament - skinny East Londoners beware!

Sweet, this is about a 5 min ride from my uni halls :) An excuse to sort myself out a polo bike :)

If this place turns out to be unsuitable - I'm not sure what it's like round there in the evenings as I've only walked through a couple of times - there's also this site, a few minutes from Charing Cross Hospital. Like the one above, it's sunk down into the ground. It'll need a sweep I imagine for riding in. Some friends and I have a kick about down there quite often and it's been fine.

I probed a few men last night and think we have a few more interested in Westie Polo - Seb + aidan, Wednesday has been tabled, but Tuesday is just as good for me? Everyone search for a hitting implement and lets reconvene after the weekend.

Alright. Since anthony has abandoned this thread with a vengeance, I suggest Tuesday at the chosen venue for the inaugural W.L.polo game.
I think it will just be Aroogah and I jousting unless you peeps are up for it.
Anthony, wayno, jonny, dogsballs et al?
I have 3 mallets, might have 4 by then - please, please ~~don't~~ just come and laugh at us!
This wll most likely be a mess-around-session unless some angels with more mallets turn up?
Open invite to anyone who can actually play polo to teach us a thing or 2.
