New to the scene

Hi guys, I'm new to the scene but i've recently purchased a spanking new Specialized langster london (limited Edition). I'm looking for a green or pink areospoke front wheel any for sale?..... also for sale tektro brake set! (new from the langster)

Hey guys, LTFU. We're a bit harsh to newbies, and if anything we should be helping them out. Who cares whether he wants a pink Arrospok on a London Langster? He's riding, that's another bike on the street and that's a good thing.

hope it is a joke ,i'm newish to getting back on a bike and sometimes you start out not knowing what to buy !! and forums can be harsh!!!!!!:(

I own a Langster along with other bikes (iro and a pk ripper and a frame won ebay) and i commute on it daily and I really like it for what it is, but you get what you pay for....

it's been gone over before, nothing wrong with langsters.

not everyone's favourite, exactly, but still represents good value for money from one of the biggest manufacturers.

it's not about the bike.

it's not just that it's a langster, it was that the OP was a scintillating combination of several of the most unpopular memes on this forum, all in one fell swoop!

a) 'fixie'
b) london langster (much-derided for their looks and try-hard factor)
c) arrospok, in pink or green no less!
d) selling something in your first post
e) the thing he's selling is the brake

it's asking for trouble. if it is a joke, i like it. if it's not a joke, then jimmy fixie should've lurked for a bit longer before posting.
