Manchester Bicycle Polo

So, I'm on here to ask for your advice. But I guess I've already got it. I'm scared if I attend the Manchester Bicycle Polo Tournament that I will lose my credibility. I just feel that if the London teams don't come to play (even though they said they would) that it surely won't boost my social status by turning up.

...and anyway, I was only going in the hope of glimpsing Rakans tight pants. Unfortunately Harry Halls is no patch on Brick Lane Bikes. I've heard they use crank wrenches to remove cranks. Whats with that??

Yours

JC, I feel your pain.

Nothing worse than promises of attendance (I remember from some thread on here last year after the london comp), you organise something and people don't turn up.

I'll get over to manc-land sometime to check out the polo. I may be disguised as a local with flat cap, whippet and butchers bike so chris crash doesn't recognise me ;)

Yeah but the "scouse cunts" brought more to it than any southerners ever could...

it was a feckin ace day...mancs and scousers meeting in a park with mallets..who could've guessed it would have ended with everyone grinning?

Any info on the scousers, that's my neck of the woods (almost)?
I'd like to have a go at polo some time.
