The original slaves did not wear helmets - and to show respect I will also ride 'to freedom' (figuratively speaking) naked up stairs.

I ride brakeless whilst listening to music. I just expect that one day I'm not going to make it to my destination :]

Thats a reasonable attitude. Sometimes I would like to listen to music while cycling, especially cruising around town on a lovely sunny day. But I always think to myself its too dangerous.

I ride with a mp3 track which is a looped one hour recording of heavy traffic even when I am in the countryside. I recorded it during a Monday morning rush hour on the old kent road. I find this actually keeps me MORE alert when riding as if I ride with out said recording I get lazy during periods of low traffic and laydown in the middle of the road.

I think we ought to keep this thread open - if anyone feels like having a pointless argument about trivial bollocks, or if they just want to stir it up a bit, or they want to get all bald about shit, they simply have to join in here. Also it could accommodate those who are incapable of communication in any other form than aggro posturing in a 'I'm older/faster/wiser/more earnest than you' kind of way. This means that ideally all the other threads will be full of the normal stuff like jibberish and bicycles.

I disagree with your opinion. I think we should keep this thread active for purposes of sheer bloody mindedness. The end effect is the same but the intent is different :]

Ermm... I think you'll find that I'm right and your wrong. How old are you? Why must you be so argumentative? It never used to be like this...

Based on typing skills Chris would lose.
On actual physical contact Chris would lose as he's a weak and feeble vegan.
On cycling ability, Chris would crash.

Looks like with is his only chance. Even then they'd probably tie ;]
