Dzidzor
Dzidzor ( AKA G). I am completely bed ridden, should had pick up one of them cute girls from Cambridge to be my house nurse, pretty sure i would not be suffering as much. Good ride everyone!, had a really good time. great to finally meet you guys, shout to horatio for sticking it out with me after muscle pullage, killed like a mother fucker. but got through. guessing my 48x16 ratio did not help me. but i am a stubborn dude. anywho Really loking forward to the next big one. definitely got to sort out my ratio by then. shout to Lebowski,Cornelius and stompy for getting us there.

Dzi man, thought you might not be moving around much today, you were hobbling around good at one of stops just after you told me you'd pulled the muscle. Hope it recovers quick, hopefully in time for the secret london next weekend...

What an epic of a day

Left house at 04:45, home at 22:00.

Absolutely gutted I had to leave when I did, found an off licence in Peterborough and had a few drinks on the train but not the same at all.

Thanks to everyone on the ride, was a bit worried being a northern how I would be welcomed but what a fucking top set of guys you all are. Can't remember everyones name's but thanks to the guys who put this all together and hope Cornelius and Lebowski are feeling ok today after those big crashes, hope everyone else is ok after been burnt in the sun all day.

Bring on the next one!

I had the same ratio, the hills were catastrophic, never ever again, no wonder your suffering. Good luck, and a beautiful bike by the way.

Cheers fellas, great ride. Even getting slightly lost was good- 70 miles is a far better number than 60.

What's the best way of posting photo's? I took a shit load yesterday, only on a phone camera (and some on the move) but there's quite a few decent shots.

I'm crap on computers so the simplest way possible!

Another awesome lfgss ride. Amazing scenery, fantastic weather, and another great group of riders.
Nice to meet some new faces - props to the guy who came down from Hull and glad to see there was no real major 'incidents'.
My legs got a bit of a shock when I got home and swapped the road bike for a track bike and went straight out again, had to skip stop a few times to put my brain into fixed mode!
When I get a chance I'll try and stitch together some of the video I've got.

The weather and destination were the icing on the cake.

A worthy first outing for my new bike...

All the ingredients were there:

Great people, great weather, great destination and a shed load of beer at the end.

Bring on the next one!

I am still laughing at you deciding to riding 12.5 hours to Hull instead of paying the train upgrade! thats fking northern class!

Sterling effort from G to get finish with pulled muscle! next time try the no legged freewheel on a slightly smaller decline ;)

Good work Mike, Lebowski and Corni on the organising and planning. i even enjoyed the hidden miles.

Oh and for the record Cornie didn't come of, he just lay his bike on the floor and took a rest so Lebowski would take pity and mend his puncture :) ha ha

(Hope the shoulders ok man)

like everyone says, cheers for shepherding us through, Cornelius and Lebowski. Top ride - sorry not to stay and be a bit more sociable at the end, but had to get back to town...

in terms of next rides, i could be up for a longer one, in training for the dynamo... oxford, however, is slightly shorter (done it on a road bike), but there's some serious hills there!!

cheers to everyone i met and see you again soon

slamm nice film. Yes, mighty good message at the end... if you haven't done one, do one! I was scared I couldn't make Southend but it was a piece of piss, especially the small hills we encountered ;) ... What a lovely route that looked, I'm a sucker for an English country road.
