the op is done and the bone bits look good. i MAY need another one to sort out ligaments, i'll find out next tuesday :-(

I just rode a bike for the first time since the crash. The pista went into the shop and got new handlebars and the brake lever moved to the left hand side. My consultant and physio siad that it'll be another 4 weeks till I can ride, but what do they know? I went round the block a few times and even got onto the drops.

It felt good but kind of uncomfortable, I think I may need to drop the saddle a bit to begin with to deal with my lack of arm extension.

In fact, it felt awesome - I can't wait till I can do proper journeys.
