OK, Poll closed and we have:
28% Think animated avatars should stay regardless of what they look like
19% Think they shouldn't be allowed at all
31% Think they should only be allowed if they're not overly distracting from reading the discussion
22% Just don't give a shit

What to do. Well with 50% of people basically saying that the bat shit crazy animated avatars are good for the bin, I'll go with that.

I think the size allowed for animated gifs should be increased. At it's current level, it's cruel to my cat, who will never be able to get that hair ball out.
