There was a topic on here earlier about the Single speed championships in The Netherlands but I just want to bring this to everybodies attention. ECMC 2008.

Standing for European Cycle Messengers Championships. But due to the ever growing popularity everybody is welcome. Maybe not everybodies cup o tea but definetally worth going and easy to get to.

What's more. The wonderfull people of Rollapaluza will be hosting the rollerracing.

For all the info and registration check out the website (artwork by www.erosie.net) on www.ecmc2008.com

but isn't it all chocolate sprinkles, edam and windmills?

not that there's necessarily anything wrong with those things, I quite like edam.

Google:

Swaffeling is the way to drive the woman (or if you prefer man, such as some dubious characters) of your dreams to new unprecedented heights and fabulous moments of pleasure. Only men can practice this erotic expression (women also, provided that they are in the possession of sex toys).

The swaffel stands or falls with an important factor. The swaffeller must be in the possession of a so-called top-heavy penis. This means that the penis must not be fully stiffened, though it mustn't be soft either. Top-heavy is a state in which the penis hangs approximately horizontally, and it in which is possible to swing with the penis. Then, take the object to be swaffeled (by preference women's bottom, leg or breast) and slap it gently. Do not hit too hard to prevent bruises and broken bones.

An update from the Lovely people over in Eindhoven regarding the ECMC.

If you wanna go make sure to register before the end ofthe month. It'll save you 20 quid!!

We're proud to announce the following entertainment line-up:

Fridaynight 25/07/2008:

Don't miss this ECMC2008 opening party.

In the Gaslab on the TU/e campus - ECMC homebase - we'll have a liveshow by our Dutch no.1 psychobilly band: The Milwaukee Wildmen. These guys make an eclectic mix of Rockabilly, Metal and Punkrock.Real Rawk & Roll. So get ready for Saturdays qualifying races withthis howling blood 'n' guts blast of rock!

www.myspace.com/milwaukeewildmen

Saturdaynight 26/07/2008:

For the main party we are proud to present to you another class of Hollands top-notch acts. For starters Area51 (skatepark ! ! !) is a special venue - not one with fuckedupbouncers or ridiculous booze-prices. But don't get us wrong: It ain't cheesy or cheap either. Especially for all you cyclosportive guys'n'girls we have contracted Big Entertainment. Saturday night Rollapaluza will stage the Roller-race finals and the bands Aux Rausand ZzZ will perform to a full max. What a coincidence: they are all duo's. So don't come alone. Rollapaluza have revived the sport of roller-racing in the UK and are going continental (or ehhh Dutch)! Two cyclists battle it out on a pairof vintage rollers connected to a huge dial over a simulated 500mdistance at speeds in excess of 50mph. Rollapaluza events are wellknown for their atmosphere and the crowd always goes wild!

Aux Raus aka Human Reverse Magnets are the craziest Techno punk bandfrom Amsterdam/Oss in a long while. Check out their music online -these guys won Best Dutch Album 2007. Capturing the spirit of the alcoholic dance parties and the dirt of punk shows Aux Raus know how to make a party out of a funeral. Creating a maximum impact with minimal means they became known as the enfants terribles of dance music.

zZz (sound of zzz) 'Upon first listen of zZz, I only had one thought: what the fuck? Not WTF in a bad way, just in a confused yet entertained one. Their unholy racket is sexy and almost maddening, but damn it's good. zZz is thetype of band that will end up playing at Satan's nude dance party.'- Tripwire -
And that's why they are playing for us messengers, late at night - at noon they will have performed at RockWauberg in Belgium.

Sundaynight 27/07/2008:
Finally time to relax, chill and cool down with our one and only favourite Dutch messenger singer/songwriter Rik van den Bosch. Checkhim out - he has a new album coming out in april 08: COFFEE,CIGARETTES & BEER.

If anybody is planning to go there and is a skater: bring your deck and check out Area51 skatepark... it's a sick indoor skatepark with THE best indoor bowl/pool.

That's right. The party will be at the area 51 skatepark. Their new hide out on the 3rd floor of one of the old Philips electronics factories.

Almost 200 people have registered already ! That's already double the total of people that showed up in Oslo last year.....

Are you coming down with your camera dogmatic??

Got an email with reports on it:
Quote:
Hey guys,

the report that I did from the ECMC fixed gear competition in Eindhoven is online on www.Hobnox.com.

This is the Link: http://tv.hobnox.com/#/en/CLTR-CTRL/Str33t/oc37e

You can also embed the report with the embed code on your site. I would be very happy if you could help me spreading the word, so that all Fixie-Fans can see the report.

Thanks a lot.
Best regards from Berlin,
Juli
