Was looking about in BLB today and I'm quite liking the look of the Coppis' and just wondered if anyone could let me know how they ride. Thanks

Bought one the other week, almost finished. I got a white with triangular tubing, black decals and lugwork

Dying to ride it!

I have an Alu one and it rides really nice, bars that came with it are too wide for me but I don't ride it much, (105 group set). I know there are some older lugged ones too, is that the one blb have.

Rubino Pro

I've got a saddle and seatpost. I've gotta cut a few inches of the seatpost though as the seat tube is cylindrical at the base of the seatstay but then goes triangular and doesn't go down very far!!

The forks have got a hole drilled but I'll need to put the other wheels on and obviously the caliper. The caliper's black though, don't think it'll look right, might get a silver caliper and lever, not decided yet

i have a pair of yellow coppi forks on my bianchi pista.. they seem to do the job. Hold the front wheel on, allow me to turn corners, that sort of thing :)

pistanator, is this a road bike that BLB has the rear drops cut-off and replaced with track ends. then repainted with new coppi logo's? something's not quite right about it as a track frame?!?

yes, plus
- funny orientation of track drop outs (that look like they've been set forward to decrease the clearance)
- drilled fork
- rear brake bridge with the round centre bit
- the fact i've seen a few road frames at BLB (and also heard of the same thing happening to other frames)

that's not the point. the fact that you may have paid a great ££££ for an essentially chopped up road frame (if that is true).
