Mongrel,

Do you want to meet up somewhere North and ride down to Hyde Park together?

Where North? If anyone's around Stoke Newington way, we could have a pre-meeting point.

mikec we could meet at the woodsman maybe? Forgot where you're coming from... Gotta run and play footie now, but JimL p'raps you can meet us somewhere on the way in... I'm easy, but probably meeting a few people'll pressure me into getting out the door on time...

I'm not going to make it (not that anyone was expecting me), but I have a tip -

take warm windproof clothing!

It's forecast to snow Sunday because of a huge wall of icy air that's due to sweep in from Norway starting Friday night.

If you look at the Metcheck site you'll see that it says 'Temp 9, Feels like 0' for 9am Saturday. That's the crazy wind-chill factor.

Sounds good.

I have developed a cold over the last three days. I am sitting here eating the biggest bowl of fruit ever. I have drunk cider vinegar, honey, lemon, neurofen. You name it I am taking it. I think I have the better of it now as I am back at work and am 95% confident I will be fit for tomorrow. I will be major pissed off if I am not up for it. Can you PM me your number in case I haven't made a full recovery by tomorrow morning. I will phone you at about 7 if I can't come. If not and more likely I will see you at 7.15

The only reason I came in was because my best waterproof jacket and my favourite cycling top were left here from the other day and judging by the weather I will probably need them. May slope off early

Damn, wish I'd seen this thread a week earlier. You'll be almost passing my house as you fly down Ditchling Road and into the sea. I've embarassingly never climbed the Ditch from the North.. might take a pootle up there from this side if the weather is fine...

I'll give you all a yell if I spot you around town tomorrow.. you'll definitely be conspicuous.

Have a nice one,
Tim
