Arrghhh! I can't make Saturday's.

I'm sure most of the waiting around last time was, apart from the attack of 50/14, due to punctures. So, without wanting there to be 'rules', could people agree to having puncture resistant tyres, as well as ridable/stoppable gear choices of course!

i just got back from a spur of the moment l2b with a couple of friends, 1x roadie, 1xmtb and me SS. was a good ride, took a while though (due to getting lost, repeatedly) 5.something hrs can't remember when we arrived. i had to stop a couple of times on ditchling to get my breath back, but didn't walk, which was nice. quick swim, fish and chips on the pier, next train home.

tried to follow this route, it was good, apart from where we went sailing by turnings...

I've ridden to Brighton Twice. Once geared, once fixed. Got rained pissed on both times. - That's my curse.

I'd like to give this another go, but I'm not chiselling my name into the stone of the list yet.

London to Brighton in the morning then you have all afternnon to do the second leg on your own.

i don't mind earlier if it means more people can make it, especially Object, who has a ghost to lay to rest, before going to the Ghost Town of Coventry.

It's dependent on weather with me as there's two hill's I really don't want to do brakeless in the wet. That said it had been raining last time ;]

If it's going to be quite cold, like below 2degC then 8am is too early. Last time we left at 8am there was still ice on the roads an hour or so in to the ride.

We'd only made it to the the top of Brixton Hill at an hour into the ride.
