Counterfeit notes though - printed by yourself as part of your alternative lifestyle.

So, does crime constitute an alternative lifestyle? Or does it depend on the type of crime - eg. political direct activism vs shoplifting from a well-known high street electrical retailer?

crime constitutes crime.

stealing is a crime, regardless of who you steal from, there will always be a knock-on effect that punishes some poor bugger and never really sticks it to *The Man*.

still, lets not be paranoid. a man's gotta move some shit in this world just to keep from cryin'

i'm not really getting with this alternative vs non-alternative stuff, i think people should do what they believe in and not be swayed by peer pressure / adverts / wanting to have a bigger tv than their neighbour etc. i'm into re-use, not wasting, i make my own food, grow herbs, paint pictures, make boats (sort of), build bikes (occasionally), find things in skips, etc. i also have a 9-5 job. i don't consider myself alternative. i'm not saying it's good or bad. i just do things that interest me.

of course i prefer people not to believe in burning down houses/kidnapping children etc.

I wouldn't.

have you used the northern line?

it's a fucking joke. better to ride.

in fact, it's always better to ride isn't it?

even when you are going drinking on the other side of town in the rain.

Seems like so much hassle... I think the only time I ever would is if my bike was totally unrideable.

I was emphasizing the uselessness of a Tube map..
Reckon they could get the whole A-Z on the frame? It'd be like that Prison Break dude's tattoo.. :)

I'd quite like to do a crit round one of the more labyrinthine stations though. The "In-A-Tube Alleycat" or something.

Oh yeah of course it does, the more people out of cars and onto public transport the better! I was just saying if my bike was unridable, or the circumstances weren't suitable for my bike, it'd be the next thing I'd go for :)

Like the guy that skied down the big escalator.. ride down, zip around a pilon, scream down the straight careful not to clip the metal dividing barrier, sharp left, sharp right, shoulder bike and run over tracks..

If that's indicative of the majority of people's attitude to cycling then we're doomed.
