yes, my dunwich training is well underway. parts of the rigorous regimen include - not getting pissed on, not having my arse bleed and - the ultimate challenge - not ending up on an obscure suffolk beach at 7 am wanting to cry and go to bed.

i forgot to book last year but managed to chuck my bike in a van hop onto one of the coaches with no problem at all.....did intend to pay but somehow just forgot! might just try the same this year, unless anyone has space or want to share something???

I might ride the extra, what, 40mi? to Ipswich for a train.. unless there's a lfgss coach (but I'm not organising that so meh!)

The theoretical limit is 4 but it depends on whether there is a jobsworth on hand on the day. I would imagine that booking will be impossible now, even from Ipswich. Be aware that the train from Darsham terminates at Ipswich so even if you get there, there's no guarantee of being allowed on until much later in the day.

TSK's tip of the day, if you're going to try and wing it on the trains, head up through Wenhaston to Halesworth. It's one stop up the line and will mean you aren't part of the cat herding at Darsham. The only risk is a jobsworth making it Failsworth. If I didn't have a gf with a campervan, I would like those odds.

Hippy - Ipswich is about 30mi.

the southwark cc coach sounds like the sensible option.
