User ID = 1 usually always controls a site.

If it's one of your posts, you should be able to edit the post yourself.
If it's someone else's post, ask them if they'd edit their post to remove the bit that is causing the problem.
Failing all of the above, I can do edits where they are justified (I have no intention to do this often and people will think it's rude if I routinely edited things they posted - beyond discussion title formatting and link fixing).

And I can't edit posts that are whispers I'm afraid. I can't see them, they're private, so I have no 'edit' button to click.

But by that same standard if you're concerned about the information you posted, that X quoted, in the whisper... well it's safe as in no-one can see it, not even I.

Of course I could in theory go into the database via SSH and MySql command line, and craft the SQL to read the row (once found) and then craft more SQL to update the row (with just the quote edited) and then ask you to test that it's fine. But seriously... I don't get paid to do this and if you really want me to do that I will charge you my hourly rate, which will be nice for me as I could get that new Dual format HD/BD DVD player I've been looking at.

Actually, maybe I can live with the speeling mistsakes.

No, I have a Condor Paris for that. The Classico is too harsh. I'd really like a no gear bike with suspension, these bikes are way too uncomfortable and crease my cords.
