The Department store Tokyu Hands started selling Panasonics while I was over there last year. Well now they are selling Levels too. Prices are around ¥168,000.

(Tokyu Hands is a lifestyle store, which sells home wares etc. Bit like a John Lewis).

But the more I'm looking at that the more I think it might somehow be both.
Its one bike lug hand carved by Watanabe san.

I remember bikesnobnyc writing about that bike (and you know how he thinks about this style of bike). Funny thing is, it has a Belgian url (fixated.be) on it but that leads nowhere...

Unfortunately there wasn't alot around in terms of shops. I only found a couple of skate shops. Try emailing the License crew.

There are a couple of Korean builders that actually have NJS accreditation. Corex and Interpro are the two that I know of

RE: those lugs.

Overdone.

If I was looking for a custom frame builder, skill with a needle-file would be pretty low on my list of considerations. Attention to detail, definitely. In it for the details, hmm..
