That fillet brazing is incredible. I was really curious as to where the seat post clamp is... any ideas?

Oh, and that frame is a track frame with a double down tube. It's pretty stunning.

Some attached... he's not uploaded all of them to his website yet, but the pro pics he's had taken will look good.

I think the same. Otherwise she'd have to remove the saddle to put a long allen key down the throat of that seat post to make any adjustments.

What about the wound-up... how nice are those? As in... would a wound-up give a better ride experience than a steel fork. i.e. if you had a wound-up lying around and a steel frame and fork, would you put the wound-up on if all of the aesthetics of it were good.

http://www.woundupcomposites.com/road_fork.html

Very good carbon fork that excels at Cyclocross. Road, disc and tandem flavours also available.

Kinda ugly, so painting them is a fairly smart idea.

In his pocket !

The clamp was removed for the photography session/display - the bike was apparently made for the bloke's daughter 'Juliana.

That actually makes a hell of a lot of sense.

I am guessing it is a standard split in the rear of the upper seat tube and a standard clamp that sits on top of the seat tube.

The bloke (the owner of the bike) posted a load of stuff about it over on bikeforums.

The "bloke" is actually Don Walker, and yes, he built this one for his little girl. Besides being a fine bike builder and consumer of fine Scotch Whiskey, Don is the founder of NAHBS. http://www.handmadebicycleshow.com/2008/ for bike porn aplenty.

Since the owner of bikeforums sold out to internet marketeers bike forums has become unsearchable, unnavigable, slow, and frankly utterly unusable. It's such a shame, so much great information on there that is impossible to find.

No no, that was the right way of doing it. Click the images for big... but when we load the page over and over we just see the thumbnails.
