| | Never going to happen. The only racing vehicles which have more power than they know what to do with are dragsters (bikes and cars), and not coincidentally that's also the only place you see belt drives in use for racing, as supercharger drives on cars and primary drives on bikes. Everything else uses chains because the hysteresis loss in a belt drive is power lost which you can't afford. |

| | Don't agree. Upward pointing stems are not porn, maybe the right stem on a BT or so. On the majority of bikes it doesn't look right. This amount of spacers is just acceptable. But if we're just talking about porn (no this bike is certainly no porn IMO), there should be less spacers. Def. no rising stem. Perhaps a high concave upper part of the headset would be the right solution. Also to make a smoother transition from headtube to spacers stack. Oh, and the stem is too short to make it porn. |

I ride with drops and find it just as easy as with risers. As long as your bike fits you and you can actually ride in the drops (which I do 80%+ of the time) then stopping is easy. If you use drops incorrectly and just hold the flat part next to the stem then I would agree they would be useless, but you don't do that. Do you? :-) I agree with you about Oury's and I find them comfortable too but they look out of place on a classic thin tubed steel track frame (as do risers)

| | Its really a total different saddle. The shape maybe "almost" exactly the same (its not though),but they feel different, have different writing, different leather, foam. pretty much everything. The new ones are reallllllly horrid. Really horrid. Which is weird, cos the Regal, Rolls and the other one whose name has temporarily slipped my mind are all nice (not as nice as the old ones, but still nice.) The new turbos are hideous, and horrid, and shit. [/rant] |

different handlebar doesn't really make much difference when resisting the cranks, if the rider find it's comfortable to ride on super narrow drop, who am I to says difference?
