I would maybe want it low to use for polo and the like. Especially if fixing it would be a problem.

I was looking at the Chesini's for my first build, ut decided against it for the need of a drilled fork.
But now I want one again. In fact I'm just loving all the simple & classy builds on here at the mo.

Plus it reminds me of this Waterford which is officially my fav bike ever!

And the Cinelli Priest bar is comfortable as hell to ride, I could easily do 100 miles and still feel like I'm cruising.

need to get more of them, gonna put the new version on my father's old (modern) road bike.

There's some NOS ones on the bay, but nearly £100 with postage! Way out of my price range.
Off to France soon so will be looking at all the bike jumbles over there to see if I can find some.

@Super, your Daimant is sweet, what you building now?

Anyhow, since you have a modern bike, at least you can have the new Cinelli Priest (which have the inept oversize clamp);

typical Olde Cinelli 26.4, a size that Cinelli chosen to restrict people using aftermarket stem/handlebar on their handlebar/stem, but at least you can use a quill stem.

Not sure dude. Don't think so. I want Priest bars, but would only put them with a nice Cinalli quill and on a nice classic bike. I'll start with the bars and work backwards!

i ride that frame in a deep red color. with sugino 75s, regal saddle, Ellipse wheels and nitto drops/stem/post. thats a 54cm, i ride a 56cm. I keep meaning to get a pic in current projects, i'm just too lazy.

My friend rides the bike in a 54, black. He's lucky enough to have picked up those cranks with the deal as well.

waterford; thats a 2800. Oversized True Temper OX Platinum and Reynolds 853 mix tube set. If you look at the frame critically you'll notice the downtube is pretty fat compared to a lot of bikes. stiffer than stiff.
