I'll call your Fignon and raise you a Moser.

Hi, I'm new here (not from anywhere near london, though, unless you call a 75 minute flight near.) and I know you're not supposed to post your own bikes here, but I saw that Moser which looks a *bit* like the Moser frame I bought for 50 euros and and converting into a fixie right now, so I thought I'd post it.

haha that would be quite a challenge... maybe the power of a 100 Uri Gellers would come in handy to pull that trick off.
I didn't even know about that record attempt bike, I just couldn't not buy a frame that beautiful at that ridiculous price. Mind you, It remained unsold for about 3 months before I decided to get it... kinda shows you how blasé Belgians (that's where i'm from) have become about race bikes as there are so many here.

nice machine, but what's with the forks? They look a bit old fashioned
for such a sleek frame, what with the flat shoulders and everything.

The forks are original, those Cannondales used to be alloy with steel forks... the model after, "Major Taylor" (grey and red, used to cost £1000 at Evans) had (alloy or carbon? can't remember now) non-steel forks and looked more modern... i remember that was my dream bike when i was in Brazil!

There are quite some Merckx bikes around but since Merckx is the most famous name around in cycling, the prices are higher than for comparable frames of other brands, lots of demand too...
I'm looking for a 2nd hand one of these, cheap:

Roberto £€$:The frame is beautiful - i have a Moser too, although it has an ocean between me and her (the bike is left in Brazil)...

Anyway i would build your frame with GEARS! And a 8 or 9 speed Campag groupset... don't be afraid of using gears :)
Nah, I've got a geared bike already (specialized sequoia) but Antwerp's as flat as a pancake so I prefer to ride a singlespeed around here.

I've also got another moser (my first singlespeed), which I bought for 20 euros. It was spraypainted and looked like shit, so I got it powder-coated mint green.

the front brake is missing on that pic though and it's got a different saddle now. anyhow, sorry for posting a 2nd reader's wife in the porn thread ;)

Actually there are quite some cheap Mosers around here. I probably shouldn't say that, but buy them instead and put them on e-bay before someone else does. ;)

I like this bridgestone frame *a lot*:

check out all the available colours as well... click!
Although I'd go for a solid colour with just 1 decal on each side... that is, if I could afford it... the cheaper PHM-7 version (same design, less high-tech carbon) would cost about 1700 euros if I would get it in JP.
Then again, 1700 euros would get me a lot of other stuff and I've already got 5 bikes.

That looks to be very very close to a Banchi Concept.

Even the indentation down the side of the fork.
