Likewise I can't remember his name but he was from Phili.
He had changed the pedals to black and blue eggbeaters and added a toptube pad in the same colour scheme too.

I know... I am only jealous.

I thought it was the height of decadence when I splashed out on a Rapha Cap.

Which reminds me, does anyone wear Rapha Fixed TShirts? Any good?

Where did you get your price from, the onlt thing I can see on http://www.mashsf.com/store.html# is $350 - and that does not say whether it is for just the rear or a pair ?

$230 a pair would have been cool, even with customs and excise doing their 'let's add some money on top' thing.

Cheers for the info anyhow.

This is a porn thread no? As in stuff you'd love but can't necessarily justify/afford...?

Link may have been confusing - haven't bought myself this, just staring wistfully at it through the shop window...

The multi-coloured Colnago made me think of sweeties. You know, jelly beans, liquorice allsorts, Skittles... I had the taste in my mouth, too. Very weird. I'm off to lie down in the dark.

The arrow one reminds me of videogames where you can only move in the direction of the arrows, in which case that bike would instantly explode because it wants to go in every direction at once!

These Italian frames are full of subtleties that are wasted on lesser men. :-P (I touch typed this, what with me being in a darkened room and all that. It's cool to have a super-power.)

I only found this great site the other day.Love it.Witty, informed and thoughtful posters..and the bike porn..I'm speechless. Some of those surpassingly lovely, elegant machines are going to haunt my dreams.I'm afraid I'm here under false pretenses as I don't ride fixed, but I'm considering it.Would someone be kind enough to explain the advantages? And riding without brakes?I live and ride in London and I'm having a little trouble with that one.Enlightenment would be appreciated.

MrSmith, bollocks. Are you saying that it's an experienc too mystical to lend itself to mere words?I've always considered cyclists in general to be a cut above..more courteous, more articulate than average and more than capable of exegesis.Evidently, you're an exception.Pity.
