Not fixed per-say, but general bike disease.

Every inch of my desk is covered in bike parts in varying stages of disrepair, I have four bikes leaning against my desk (all mine!!) - just looking around I can see 4 pairs of Oury grips, three sets of cranks, cables, seatposts (5!!) headsets, BBs, saddles, brake levers, calipers, forks, bolt, bolt bolts and more bolts etc etc.

Must have a good clean out.

I certainly looks like one, but alas it is nothing more than my desk.

+ add to the above, chain rings (lots) bar tape (white) more grips (bright orange), chains, derailleur, shifters, chain tensioners, V brake levers, cross top levers, BMX levers, cycling computers !!!

. . . good lord, I am more unwell that I first imagined :)

I might take a photo if anyone thinks I am exaggerating in any way !!!!

You think that's a problem?
I started feeling sorry for one of my bikes the other day cos I hadn't ridden it for ages and left it sitting in my garage looking all despondent with some crap bars on (the bike, not me).

General bike chaos on and around my desk - this doesn't really do the chaos justice, it is a foot deep in stems and seat posts in places (just counted 6!!) ! - honestly :)

I put this over in the 'what's on your desk thread'

I got my elever and dura-ace caliper powder coated in white up at Armourtex in Hackney. :)

You have to disassemble them first of course - and remember in what order all the little nuts/bearings and springs go back on !!!!

I sprayed the black parts myself, just roughed them up with fine grit sand paper and rattle canned them black, then sanded down the black paint when dry to get a smooth finish - the white is super tough, the black is enamel so should be pretty good too (after it had hardened up over then next couple of weeks)

I was going to paint some weird logo on the 75s but I might just leave them plain white.

don't waste your money doing conversions ;) . i'm relatively good at the moment, 4 built bikes, 2 frames getting re-sprayed, few wheels thats i'm selling, not too many spares.

No difference ! They basically charge per colour, so if you bring in a single bolt or a 69cm frame and forks they will charge you £40.

But if you bring in a set of cranks, three brakes, a set of levers and some forks - and you want them all powder coated in Sunshine yellow - they will charge you £40 for the lot.

The turn around on my stuff was fantastic, brought them in Thursday around 5.00pm and picked them up Friday 3.00pm !

Very nice, I have seen that picture before (perhaps on LondonFixedGear ?) - and I always want to balance out the white as it is kinda covered in a green haze.

Bought an unknown frame and forks on t'bay while a bit pissed the other night. I just can't help myself.
It turned up last night and instead of cooking i stripped it down and tried to identify it. Nervex, 27" wheel clearence, nice wrapover seatstay and campag dropouts. It was a classy bike once.....I'm sure it will be again.
