I'm curious about these races how are they worked out, is there a fixed start and end position and racers make there own way or what?

oi ratty rat rat........there is a set start where a first check point is given....when the race starts you can make your own way but its normal for people to stay together.

thats quite a contradiction as you've just asked the question on the Internet and were looking for an answer on the internet.

It depends what the organisers have in mind, there is no standard set up. sometimes you will get all the checkpoints on your manifest and have to figure out the fastest route in a random order, you can have checkpoint to checkpoint races or pointsraces over a certain amount of time. It's all up to the imagination of the organisers.

No I'm not creative at all, and I have a road racing background so that should provide you with enough information...

i am thinking there must be an italian job connection though. checkpoints on the roof of the Emirates Stadium; some unused part of sewage system; stealing a piece of chicken riding through shopping centre by bond street tube. something.
