I agree - I'd probably lose that text at the bottom as is and pop it, with a slightly more full list of features, in a smaller font, across the bottom .

Ride routes via Gmaps would be a good idea and product/shop reviews, too. Perhaps a list of pubs/restaurants with half decent food and fairly safe bike parking (big windows onto street etc.)...

Also, mechanical 'how-to's for those of us - like me - that aren't that technically minded. Remember to put a disclaimer along the lines of 'If you do this and screw it up, getting injured as a result, don't blame us for your inability to read a simple set of instructions'.

don't want to be mean, but the spelling and grammar in the opening paragraph is fairly horrific. like the look though.

edit: and perhaps a bit less armpit on the cover.

The name's great. Cool concept, just try to keep it as original as possible and you'll always have a winner.

ok thanks guys for the help

@bombadil - i'm sure you are right - i'm definitely not a writer

@ everyone - ok so the idea is you don't tell me what to put in you write or construct what i should put in

shops are already going to be in there

Just to finish off if you want something in it - write it then send it to me

also any good pictures somehow bike related can go in the gallery section

Take a look at http://www.urbanvelo.org/ if you have not all ready for ideas. I guess it would end up similar but just more fixed orientated.

I like the subtle irony of putting Yorgo on the cover of your new magazine.

Title page
-I would make the 'F' on the title a normal F rather than stretching it out. It makes the kerning awful and the actual title not immediately clear.
- "Issue 1" should be made smaller and moved somewhere more conspicuous.
- In my opinion type should not be altered (i.e stretched, tilted) in anyway so the bottom wording should be altered.
- The picture is too dark, though it is interesting.

Contents page
- I like the large picture but the type seems slightly clunky, perhaps placing the type over the picture?
- The grey bar at the bottom is not needed, it takes up too much space and would detract from any pictures you have in the future.
- You don't need the issue number at the bottom of the page.

Sorry I hope I have not been too harsh. I like the concept it just needs refining. Good luck
