for sale a 1 ride old pair of shimano MW02 goretex spd shoes



size 44 (10). reason for selling, i'm getting one size down as i usually wear thick socks with winter boots but with these I don't need to as they are very warm. so i'm getting size 43
£85 at chain reaction £60 collected from tooting

Is it the usual Shimano sizing though ie. size 44 = UK 9 (instead of the usual 10)?

I'm not buying, but thought potential customers might wonder :)

just checked the box it says EU size 44 us 10 so i guess that's a U.K. 9 then :-)

It caught me out the other day. I'm a UK 9 (Eur 43), but have always known I need a size up in Sidis. Got some Shimano shoes on special order to try, size 43, and they come up short, and say UK 8 on the box. Something must have got lost in translation at the Shimano HQ sizing meeting.

my cycling shoes are either 8, 9 or 10 depending on manufacturer which is a bit weird as i can't be that hard to make shoes to standard sizes.
