The standard Plug was still 399 in 2 Evans shops I was in yesterday. The one just off Oxford St and Spitalfields.

According to my sisters boyfriend who works in Evans the plug has gone up to 449.99 untill they get the 09 stock, god knows why, surely it should go down so they can get rid of it?

But Plugs are EVERYWHERE.. which means people will obviously pay the extra for them.
If the new ones are shit, even more reason to keep the price high.

I'm a fan. good geometry, dunno about the quality of steel. No lugwork (eccept, oddly, on the fork-ends). like an iro as far as most can tell.

I think crabtree is selling one (a frame) at the moment.

the more gear you have on your bike, the more the singlespeed/fixed wheel riders seemed like a nutters.

that it really, it wasn´t long ago that the norms were 3 speed strumpy and it´s not much different to singlespeed.

the general consolation is that the bike isn't that good for the money, especially since it's not fixed, it's single speed only (thought can be ridden fixed wheel if you got the hubs).

What happened to jhclare? From the looks of it, he bought one SS, and didn't like it; complained about it then sold it.
He bought another SS and didn't like that either, sold it also.

So, jhclare, have you finally got a fixed or singlespeed bike you like, or given it all up?
