Skated hackney Lumps last night for the first time, its amazing. That place seems to get no coverage whatsoever but its so good, like a weirder even more odder place to skate than original stockwell. If your in the Hackney area get down there, make sure you have big wheels though.

My favorite video too.... I found it in a charity shop in sussex on DVD for 3 pounds yesterday!!!

sorry, i've only just found this thread! and also just got back from skating all night so i'm stoked!

TheBrick(Tommy), i've skated both of these a couple of times and they're both rad! even the little bowl at Creekmouth (that name makes me laugh every time!), its a bit lumpy and the coping sticks out too much in places, but its so small and fun with a mini hip... and they're about 5 minutes from each other! there's more to do at dagenham so maybe check out creekmouth on the way. creekmouth's always pretty much empty, but dagenham can get busy with kids on rollerblades etc... best on a week day during term time if you can!

just quickly checked google maps, its only 9ish miles from E1 - who's up for riding there sometime?!

Its red after it rains it gets a nice coat of rust. I wouldnt recommend skating there really, the grounds a bit rough and the quarter pipe is so damned weird its almost imposable to skate if your not used to it. I need to skate cantalowes I still havent been down there since it was done, im a bit of a hermit.

some parts of what you said are untrue, the funbox is completely finished, as is everything other than the jersey barrier which is getting sorted out today. the build has taken too long, but it should be finished today. the problems that they had whilst building it werent really their mistakes, they got sold the wrong type of concrete which wasnt good enough, plus some other problems.

well i was there today, and although it was pretty packed i still manage to get a few super fast lines which included getting a little air over the main bump just from speed, there was about 3 fixed gear bikes there but i didnt recognize anyone.
