So I'm moving in with the lady. Great news for saving money (more to spend on parts), not so great news for storing the bikes. It's a small 1st floor flat. No balcony.

Options: Wall mounted flat against the wall. Stand - against the wall. External garage lock-up somewhere.

Who's got any experience / recommendations?

I saw in the LCC mag somewhere an amazing round wall mount with a cut out for a crossbar to fit. The weight of the bike was used to secure it. I remember seeing it won a product of the year award. I can't find nor remember it now. ?????

It's got to be neat and flush against the wall and would preferably have space for one bike at bottom and one above it.

Not keen on getting a lock-up. Does anyone rent one? Council? Might be good as a little bike hobby workshop thing.

Any help would be muchos appreciated ;-)

Cycloc is the round tub thingy you mentioned. Bit pricy compared to other wall mounts, but it's specifically designed for indoors apparently. Definitely keeps things pretty close to the wall (and spoke to the guy who designed it at the Cycle Show and he was thoroughly decent).

You're thinking of Cycloc I reckon. They're pretty cool but you should check this http://www.jdcycles.co.uk/accessories/storage-solutions/sport-solutions-oakrak-floor-to-ceiling-2---4-bike?JDC=1b

It's a floor to ceiling job and is great if you've got more than one bike to secure, it will take four and looks good too. There is also a freestanding version which I prefer.

Fricken expensive to rent a place - wanted to do that for my scooter?
I like the cycloc thing, but, as I have more than 1 bike, i think i'm gonna get some wall mounts when I get my new place.

I think the Delta is the one that will work for me. I might buy it next month when the girl has her Thorn, pretty much the same reason, small flat and not enough storage for the multitude of bikes.

^^^Thought there was a thread somewhere! I was thinking the gravity stand looks appropriate but there's quite a few to choose from. The minoura one in the condor catalogue seems good. It will save me drilling into the wall and can be moved around. As it's the lady's place it has to look pleasing on the eye! ;-)

Gonna check the Cycloc but reckon that's out the running now.

Anyone rent space somewhere? £££

My problem now is...what if I see another bike? Nowhere to put it! Where can I now take them apart and make lots of mess! :-(

We need a FGSS workspace!

I don't have a hacksaw.. :)

I want flat bars for it and I'll cut them down. These beasties I'll leave intact.
