At some time this morning I'm going to have to take the forum down for an hour or so to update it.

Can't be avoided, there's a security hole that needs plugging.

will we notice any new coolness or is it just background stuff that's getting updated?

It might even be shitter. Seriously.

The problem with security holes is that they force the software people to release a newer version in it's entirety a lot sooner than they would otherwise. This generally means that the extensions and little addons that make it nicer may now not be compatible with the newest version.

So it may be that some features get stripped out and disappear for a short while. Once the authors of those extensions update them then we'd be back to normal.

But yup, it may be shitter for a while.

Crikey, it appears we now have a spelling checker built in.

Ain't we going up in the world?

Eh?

I haven't done it yet! I've been diffing files and working out how the http reduction hack will migrate.

Well where did these super smart dotty lines under bad words come from then?

Maybe I have just never made a spelling mistake before?

Ahhh, the penny drops - I just upgraded Firefox...

I work with hacks! But you could be talking about different ones I feel. But most of the hacks I know want to migrate...

....plus this has reminded me - donation has finally been paid.
